Following the introduction of KF3 to replace JICA, it was discovered that Max, who weighed only 35kg, would not make the 45kg mandatory driver weight, and would therefore not be able to compete.
It was decided to consider the Junior Ginetta Championship after successful testing when it was clear that Max wanted to race, even though he would be the youngest driver in 2008.
Max will be run by Simon Moore’s Tockwith Motorports, who have been instrumental in Max’s rapid progress from karts to cars.
